TWILIGHT!!!!

My Mother, Aunt Susie, Aunt Shelly, Shelly's sister Jen and her Mom and I went to go see the movie on Saturday!!! We had a great time with a girls day, started off by going to the Holy Cow boutique, lunch at Olive Garden where I had a nasty piece of chicken. Then we hit the movie! It was a very good, and I look forward to going and seeing it again VERY SOON!!! And to add to my great happiness, I was reading on the Stephenie Meyer website and they are going forward with the production of New Moon!!!!!! YIIIPPPPEEEEEE!!!! I am so excited I can barely stand it. Edward and Bella will be played by the same people, thank heavens! And they will start production very very soon! So if you haven't seen the movie yet, GO! It's so good and then after you've seen it give me your review. Bella is played really well, she is clumsy and weird. And Edward, wow! I thought when I very first saw that Edward would be played by Robert Patterson I was deeply disappointed that he was going to play the very Edward that I had pictured in my mind to be played by someone more... well... handsome, dark haired, etc. But I was very much impressed by Robert and thought that he did an amazing job and look forward to seeing him play Edward for the other movies to be shot! So to Stephenie Meyer and the producer I say, JOB WELL DONE! It was very very good and did not disappoint me at all. Can't wait for New Moon!!!!!

For those of you who didn't already know, my grandma is going through Chemo right now to fight breast cancer. She started the procedure today and she says that she is doing well. We'll see in a couple of days if she is still feeling good. Probably not, the doctors have told her that she will probably be really sick, lose her hair and have a rough time with some foods. She just laughs it off and started looking for wigs. She is an incredible person. She will do six rounds of Chemo which will end in March and then she will do radiation for 6 months. Then by next year, she will be in remission! We are praying like crazy. The good thing about my grandma (there is many, but this is one) she is still thinking about everyone else through this. We are doing this benefit dinner for the Burt family and she is worried about the food and who's doing what, and hoping that we have a good turnout. She is never once sat down and thought, oh dear, my life is ending. She is not going to lose her life, she is going to be stronger and better than ever in a year. She is one strong individual whom I look up to for everything. She is young, healthy and has a great attitude, that is going to help her out a ton! She will have a tough year, but the Lord and our family will help her through this. Please add her to your prayers so that she will get better and return to her normal happy go lucky life. She will still be working at the school and still be the Stake Relief Society president, so she will have lots to keep her mind occupied. Thanks to those of you who have already shown your love and support by calling, emailing, flowers, food, etc. To my grammy... your the best woman in the world and I love you for being my link to the anchor that keeps my life from falling apart. I love you tons!!

The case of the missing CTR ring

Some sad news to report on this dreary Saturday afternoon. My CTR ring has been stolen!!! Or maybe (probably not) just missing. I was sitting in sacrament and needed some lotion, so I took off my ring, sat it on the bench and put on lotion, but then didn't put my ring back on. I went on with classes and got to my last class, raised my hand to answer the question and rubbed my thumb on my ring finger out of habit to spin it and noticed it was gone! I gasped really loud and the teacher probably thought I was nuts! So as soon as I had answered the question, I ran down the hall back into the chapel to the bench and it was gone!! I searched the floor, bench and hymn book holders. It was gone. I went to ask my mom if she picked it up and no, she didn't. So then I asked the bishop bric if someone had turned it in, no one had. So then I asked the primary teacher who's class cleaned the chapel after sacrament and no one had turned anything in. So it's gone... I was so sad, I got home and bawled. My mom gave me that ring and I am lost without it. I still out of habit try to spin my missing ring. It's just gone.... and I'm sad and it's probably with some dishonest little primary child who thought that they could give my ring to their mommy and they would be happy. Maybe they should have a lesson on honesty! So until then I will be on the lookout for my missing ring. I have enclosed a picture for reference... (I'm kinda chuckling at this whole thing, but it's funny to write even though the subject is not funny at all!)

So You Think You Can Dance???

So for my birthday my mom suprised me with tickets to see the top 12 perform in Salt Lake. I was so stinkin' excited when I got the tickets. I didn't care where the seats were. So we left early last Tuesday to come home and pack and get ready. We stopped and ate dinner before the show at the Cheesecake Factory (if you've never eaten there, I HIGHLY recommend it!) and of course didn't leave without having a large piece of cheesecake. I had a slice of dutch apple strueselle (can't spell) and it was amazing. Best dessert I have eaten in a VERY long time. Then it was off to the show. I thought that our seats were in the nose bleed section, so I didn't even bother taking my camera in. Then when we got in the building and got to where our seats were I was soooo ticked off that I didn't take my camera. We were on the FLOOR!!!!! And we could see really good. I was so depressed and upset for the twenty minutes before the show started. Then when the performance started I wasn't depressed anymore because it was so amazing. The dancers were so good and I cheered so loud. You'd think I was at a concert or something. It was alot of fun and I'm glad that my mom bought me the tickets. Then we stayed at my Aunt Susie's because we were getting up "early" to go to the Holy Cow boutique. For those of you who don't know what that is, let me give a brief run down as it was my first year... it is a huge craft sale in a building in Pleasant Grove. It is aisle's of all these homemade crafts that you can buy. And some delicious food and treats to take home also. There were alot of people with strollers and it was kinda annoying with the big bulgy one's, but I got over it. In the end, I spent WAY too much money, but it was alot of fun. I went with my Aunt's and a couple of their friends. We went to lunch at Cafe' Rio and then ended up splitting up and Susie, my mom and I went our merry way and did a little more shopping and then we all pooped out at Susie's house and ended our day with a drive home. I was soooo tired when we got home that I completely crashed and slept like a rock. But if any of you ever get a chance to see So You Think You Can Dance, eat at the Cheesecake Factory or go to the Holy Cow, please tell me if you are dissappointed because I was highly entertained and had a great time. I will not regret my experience one bit!

A Scary Weekend

For those of you who don't know, my brother Trevor was in a car accident on Saturday morning at about 1:00 AM. He was on his way home from taking his girlfriend, Katie, home from the homecoming dance. He remembers the road to my house and then waking up as he was going over the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road and taking out the fence and jerking the wheel to try and get back on the road, which didn't work and he slammed into the tree in front of Yogi Nielsen's house. It took the fire department an hour to cut him out of the truck. It was a bad wreck, but he is doing good. He is home, but he has three broken ribs, bleeding in his lungs, internal bleeding and a few cuts and bruises, but he looks really really good and is doing well. I will put some pictures of the truck and the fence he took out as soon as I figure out how to get them onto my laptop. Here are a couple of pictures from the hospital. A couple of friends brought him some teddy bears that he slept with during his stay at the hospital. I will update in a few days! So look for the post!! Love ya'll!!

New Job

I started a new job... it's hard and it kinda sucks at the moment, but I will probably like it after I get use to it and know what the heck I am doing. But so far it is good. I have a guy training me, which is a little awkward, but he's funny and so it makes up for the weirdness. He has to drive from Spanish Fork to Duchesne and stays the week and then goes home to his family on the weekends. Sucks for him. I just have to jump the fence unless I have to go to the office and then its all good. Anyway, I know this is short, but Trent is standing behind me trying to get me to go upstairs and get some food. So I guess I will be a nice wife and go find him something to eat. Ta Ta For Now!!!
