Merry Christmas

I loved Christmas this year. I don't know what it was about the whole holiday, but it was great. I missed my sister and her family alot, but I totally understand about "sharing". My grandpa did an amazing job on his prime rib this year. Actually all of the food was pretty amazing, but the prime rib was by far the best part. Unfortunately there was a part that came that I had been dreading since the day that Megan told me that she wouldn't be with us for Christmas Eve. The Christmas program... ugh... Jennifer got put in charge and it was good. We started out by playing this funny game and then we did the usual singing a bunch of songs.

Then when we thought that it was all said and done, Jennifer broke out the macarana and we got up and danced... best part about the whole thing was that we got Grandma up doing it!!
Followed by the Cha Cha...

Finally it was bed time and Santa to come... These are a few things that we received.

Trent got tickets to a monster truck show. And a few other things... I got the board game ticket to ride, American version and the expansion pack. And some really nice clothes! That I have proudly worn all week! I love them.
Olivia got a new hat...
And Andrew got his new best friend, Elmo and hungry hungry hippos...

Best present was when grandma opened her present from all of the grandkids and loved it! We got it done in two days, thanks to CJ, and it was worth every penny to see the smile on her face when she opened it. Megan got all the good pictures, but here is one that I was able to get.
It was a really amazing Christmas and the best part was being with my family. Trent and I were so amazed at the great time that we had. It ended too soon. Oh and this was CJ's last Christmas with us for a few years, while he is out serving the Lord.

We hope that you all had as great of a Christmas as we did!

I love the pics! Haha. Looks like the program was quite good this year, even without me. I stole the pic of Andrew hugging Elmo. Cute!
